I just picked up my Savage from the shop. The mechanic told me that he thought it was a very minor leak and not worth spending a lot of money to pull the head off. They torqued the head down tighter and did the rest of the regular service for about $100 US. He said just keep an eye on the oil level and if the leak continues bring the bike back.
